you really have never found a Flayer or heard of it? You poor deprived children. Check it at my FFVII Lists, or if you don't believe me, pick off any FAQ off of GameFAQs. The Flayer is a weapon for cid:

Imperial Gaurd? I never bothered much with 'armor', more like 'bracelets'.

Anyways, the highest magic defense armor is also the Ziedrich.

Well, since I think Imperial Gaurd is the highest armor I got, I'm going to say that for every armor question (almost).

Imperial Guard has 80 some defense, which is great since it also has 6 linked materia slots, I believe. So it's one of the best all-around armors, but it's not the best in any one category.

EDIT: I believe it's the Force Bracelet. And, I did forget about that one.

Ok, I think you get it from a Boss. I'm not good with Armor. Let me rephrase that. I suck so much with armor that I can only remember Imperial Gaurd, and I don't even know where I got it from.
