I can only think of two at the moment...(Need....sleep), the Midgar Zolom and Ruby Weapon. So, two. There's probably more, though.

Hmm, the Ghost Ship can also remove a character completely from battle. I can't think of any more...

There are four: Ruby WEAPON, Ghost Ship, Midgard Zolom, and...Hungry! It's in Sango Valley. It casts Mini on a party member, then eats them on the next turn. I thought it was staggeringly bizarre/hilarious/staggering when I first saw it.

Yes, you're right about where Sango Valley is. In the game, it's erroneously called Zango Valley. This is certainly wrong, though; sango means --get this-- coral. And the whole valley is...full...of...coral.
