It's mentioned after you first go to Mideel and find Cloud in his coma. Re-enter Mideel afterwards and go back to talk with Cloud. He'll say that if you talk to him enough(from 1-3 times).

Btw, just to clear something up, KC: The Spiral Shuriken is not sold at Costa del Sol; the Magic Shuriken is. Also, there is only one secret passage in Lord Godo's house, and that is to one of Red XIII's weapons.

Ask the question correctly my friend, I can think of at least four that can only be found in gold saucer:
Ramuh, the first chocobo race, getting out of coral prison.
W-summon, enough Battle points.
Final Attack, beating the special battle.
Pre-emptive, prize for the chocobo races.

I'm not exactly sure of pre-emptive, because you may be able to get something like sneak attack as well, and I almost know you can get enc up as a prize, but i've got at least one (i'd put money on Ramuh being the one you were looking for.)

Q: What is the only place you ever see cloud's father?

I don't recall ever seeing Cloud's father. You see his mother and some of the neighbors, but I'm sure you never see his father.

BTW the answer to my question was in cloud's subconscious, when he and tifa fall off mt, nibel, tifa's father comes over and picks her up and walks away, clouds father comes over and yells at him (so much for good memories eh?) Oh, and I was reading fast so i didn't see the (s) on the end of materia.

I seriously doubt that was Cloud's father. You should only ask questions that are directly answered in the game. For all we know, and it's most likely, that it was Tifa's father...or another neighbor.
