The Mop is in the Tempel of the Ancients.

I got a Magic Counter in the Crater, it was a white colored materia mixed in with some white clouds on the edge of one of the rocky ledges.

How many characters have long range weapons?

Magic counter is ONLY obtained through chocobo racing(what you found was a normal counter).

Yuffie, Barret, Vincent, Red XII(he has one, I think).

I got a magic counter in the Crater I promise all of you. I think it was there because I sent Vincent that way origianlly and he picked up the Mega-All. I then went back up that path and found the Magic Counter near where the Mega-All would have been. I was very surprised by this, but I still got it.

Yes, four is correct. Red XIII has one, the Adaman Clip

Notes:

1. There is no counter materia of any sort in the same screen with Mega-All(something's messed up).

2. The screen with the "white and the end of a rocky edge" has two materia: W-Magic and counter. Counter's the one in the white part; the screen with the Mage-All has no white(only a backdrop of Mako).

3. Mr Sinister: you can dig up any items you missed formerly in the game by digging them up in Bone Village. You originally find the Mop in the Temple of the Ancients.

Which monster in the Crater can cast Ultima? Which Enemy Skill does that monster have?

also, it IS a magic counter materia, I checked. maybe its a glitch...OK, if anyoen has the Brady Games FF7 strategy guide, I will tell you what screen in the Crater I got the magic counter materia. Its on page 171 of the guide, the map which goes from #17 to #18 (the only other item there is a Vaccine), on the far left path right by the white cloudy thing. It was sitting there. I did not make this up. The Counter materia is in a different location, and I got it too.
