You can, if someone else on a different sever can get you a world pass. I think they cost a small price of 1 - 2k gil.
Although you will have to start your character all over again.

If you need on a specfic server, go to ffvault.ign.com and post in the server forums in the corresponding server that your trying to get on. You should get a response in a day or two most likely.
