Confusing

I just read This Faq Big D posted a while ago and there is sumthin that confuses me.
It is confirmed that Raine is squalls mother and strongly hinted that Laguna is his father.
How can Laguna be squalls father if he is only 27..
I´ve read couple of guides wich indicate information about the charcters age,weight and stuff and laguna´s age is everywhere 27.

Well if he is 27 in the flashbacks he must be 37 or somethin by now.. And his age should then be set on 37 in each guide instead of 27.

He's only 27 in the 'flashback' sequences where you play as Laguna, Kiros, and Ward. The flashbacks had to have been at the very least 19 years ago, maybe a few years more, factoring in Squall's age and the amount of time that it took Raine and Laguna to conceive.

The reason it doesnt put this in the guides is because it would give away that Laguna's goings on are in the past. For the first few jaunts, the characters (and the player) arent sure when these things are going on.

Didn't you know? Laguna was actually nine years old during those flashbacks.
