I was just posting this to inquire upon the old Gameboy Final Fantasy Legends (since I know FFA is Sword of Mana). The games are obviously not mainstream games, so I was wondering what series they are actually part of?

Lost Heretic,
The Bitter and Jaded Teen
I think it might be the Romancing Saga series, though I'm not certain on that, someone else will have to confirm
I thought so too.

Not QUITE Romancing SaGa. The Final Fantasy Legend series is actually the original SaGa series. In this way it's not exactly part of the Final Fantasy series, but they were re-released under the same names by Hudson Soft a few years ago. *shrug*
aren't they Seiken Densetsu? Then again, that probably means "saga".
That was FF Adventure.

No, Seiken Densetsu was Final Fantasy Adventure. Completely seperate from Final Fantasy Legend.

ah oh well. i didn't play any of them anyway. game boy sucks.
I was able to try each one out for about three minutes before having to call it off for my own safety. I don't know how anyone was every able to tolerate the grating noise that passed for sound quality in early GameBoy games.
Yeah. I actually bought the Final Fantasy Legends 1, but I didn't have the patience for it. The story was practically non-existent, I had to BUY my party (hire, I guess, but I named them and everything), and the battles were plain and too simple. I had no patience for them. Then again, that was YEARS ago, so things may be different now...

I usually kept it turned down. It bugged people on those long car rides. Still, I thought the FFL series had some pretty good tunes.
I think Final Fantasy Legend was the first RPG I ever played all the way through. Part two was the best, and part 3 you could travel through time! Well, it excited me back then.

I dispised the first two FFLs. Weapons and magic could break, making your party nearly helpless if you fought a monster on your way back to a town to buy more weapons and magic. That and it had that horrid no-level system the wicked so-called FF2 had. 3 was the only good one, as it was just like the origonal numbers. Final Fantasy Adventure i'm currently enjoying as well.

LameBoy games are stupid.
i always thaought that they were their own creation. i guess they kind of remind me of the old dragon warrior monsters games. who knows
"In the end there can be only one...
