My favorite Cid is the one from Final Fantasy VII as well (out of the list, anyway). I like the Cid from Final Fantasy Tactics, too, but 'Cid' isn't his real name in that game.

He's that crazy air ship maker in FFIV too. And yeah, he fights. Anyway, I like the Cid of FFVII the most. He's got the most spirit.

I hate being unoriginal, but it's gonn ahve to be Cid from FFVII. He's one of the best characters in that game, I think. But disregarding him...10's Cid, maybe, though he was hardly in it at all.

Messr. Highwind is the best, yes, but Cid Fabul IX deserves mention, too, if only for the penance he has to endure for his womanizing for almost the entire game--and, of course, for the awesome airship he builds as soon as he's recovered.

I like Orlandu (TG Cid) the best, but second is Highwind and he is an actual option.
