I used to play the recorder, of course that was only cause we had to in music class. And I got the ocarina that looks like the ocirina from Zelda Ocarina of time, I ever really played it too long though because I could never learn how to play it right. I also played the piano for like a month then stopped.
I'm not really musically talented I guess. *shrugs*
I "play" guitar. Right now I have a Gibson Faded SG Special that I frigging love to death. She runs through a Marshall AVT275 that I think is alright. My next guitar will be a Martin D-1 acoustic, I hope. I'm trying to learn to play the drums by practicing for about fifteen minutes a day once or twice a week... not going too well.
I know you all are talking about guitars but here is my instruments since I'm a music major.......
I play on a Selmer Recital B flat & A clarinet (two larger ones-B flat on the right, A on the left). My E flat clarinet (the small one) is a Buffet R13.
My flute is an old Armstrong Emertis.
I also play on a Yanagasawa tenor saxophone and Yamaha alto sax.
I also own a Takamine acoustic guitar but that's at home and I can't play too much on it anyway.
Here's a piture of some of my babies!
I have been playing piano and synths (sell taught) for just over 13 years now. I've freelanced with a few local bands, done session work in small-time studios, and now I have my own band which sort of melds classic 80s hard rock with more contemporary heavy metal.
And I'm currently saving ye olde pennies for a Roland RS70, so I can have some much better piano samples and an easier way of uploading or creating new sounds
I also play drums, but do not own a kit God knows how I learned to play, but I'm not too bad.
Awful vocalisms, and an instinct leaning towards a bass, but if I play that, then I won't be able to go crazy on stage at my sellout arena tours in three years time.
Percussionist by trade for 15 years and vocalist since I can remember, though not terribly good at either.
I'm currently in the market for a new set, as I sold my old one to a friend who needed it more than I. Usually, I just set up a set at my college or at a local studio and jam my heart away.
