    Default Gravity can kill?

    Can anyone else kill with the gravity spell? Gravity isn't suppose to kill, but I just went up against 3 defenders and Donald cast Gravija and they were all dead before Sora or Goofy could do anything. Is this suppose to happen?

    I think it can in KH. It's just damage I think. Not like FF.

    That depends on who you're casting it on.

    The problem with KH magic is that all the spells do damage the same way. I think Gravity is just counted as a non-elemental but otherwise normal spell.

    I agree. I think it's just used as a non-elemental spell.

    Gravity reduces your opponent's life by half if it hits. Some are more vulnerable to it and take more damage. Others are stronger against it and take less damage. It's strongest on flying non-boss monsters and *cough* large non-boss enemies. Use it on Wyverns and flying ships for impressive results.

    Cool, I'll keep that in mind, as I'm playing through the game... once again.

    Doesn't spell level effect it too? Like Gravity is 1/4 HP, Graviga (or whatever it's called) is 1/2, and Gravija is 3/4?

    On some of the FF's it does, but I don't really think so on KH.

    I believe the spell level of Gravity in KH just widens the area that the spell hits. It might make the spell hit harder, but I don't think so.

    It definantly does widen the area a bit. And I think it does do a little more damage, but not much more.

    Right you are! Heavy enemies and flying enemies get whooped by it... but that's about it. personally, I only use Firaga, Blizzaga and Curaga. It got me through the game on Expert Difficulty... w/ 100% Completion.

    Ah, I have found my answer. This gravity spell is similar to the Atomos eidelon in FFIX, it can do 100% damage if you have enough of something. In this case, it's MP.

    Gravity = ((MP x 5) + 40)% Damage
    Gravira = ((MP x 5) + 55)% Damage
    Gravija = ((MP X 5) + 70)% Damage

    So, Gravira can do 100% Damage if Sora has an MP of 9. Of course this number varies depending on the type of heartless you're fighting. And after you seal the Hollow Bastion, the heartless become more resistant to Gravity, so you have to have more MP to have the same result. So I guess Donald having 14 MP could kill most anything with a Gravija spell.
