I had no idea abstinence before marriage was common. If I practiced that, I'd probably die as a virgin, or even worse, I'd get married.
But anyway, it's not only a stupid article, it's a stupid statistic. OK, they do a statistic between people that have sex before marriage and people that say they don't but then they do. Uh...isn't it the same, anyway, only ones are not being sincere? What is that supposed to show? That many people lie? Eh....whatever.

I believe what the article's headline is attempting to say is that pledging abstinence whilst a teenager is not going to reduce one's likelihood of contracting an STD once one becomes sexually active. But yeah, the article's misleading. I agree more or less with what eest said though.
