A battle between guns and blades (but not gunblades), we have the vampiric Vincent versus the (SPOILER)undead Auron. Will Vincent be able to transform himself into something that will stop Auron from breaking him in two, or will the death penalty be no match for the masamune? One of these two move on to the final four.

You can't compare 99,999 hit points to 9,999 hit points when comparing characters between games, it doesn't work that way. You have to compare them relative to their own environments (i.e the game that they are in). This means you're comparing an Auron that is at the maximum hit points points possible in his game with a Vincent that has the maximum hit points possible in his game. Which means that one isn't any more powerful than the other when it comes to hit points because they both have the maximum amount possible in the game.
