What the? This kind of acting is sickening, and it really proves to me that FF6 fans are nothing but cowardice cheaters. If this goes into nothing but eestlinc voting for Locke multiple times (I think he's voted at least 3-4 times since Locke had 9 votes, now he has 13), can't Locke get DQed and Cloud get declared the winner?

Well if there is significat evidence of foul play I could run a grudge match between Locke and Cloud and ban eest from ringside. But it seems Cloud has pulled ahead again. Whether or not multiple accounts were involved I cannot say.

Alright. I'm sorry. It's just that during the last few days, I've been close to getting into fights with some people who love FF6 and claim everything else sucks and that everyone who disagrees with them is a shallow idiot. But I still don't get it why eestlinc or someone messed up the poll.

For, well, IF you create another tournament, maybe the characters can be seeded properly, this was a kind of testee tournament, and add some other characters who some would vote for more... or even better a 128 character tournament...

wtf I didn't vote for Locke 6 times! I voted for him once and I got my friend to vote for him once as well. I don't even like ff6 that much, but Locke is the superior character from that game.

This sucker is in the books. After a very close and controversial battle, we have a champion!

After slashing his way out to an early lead, Cloud thought he could run away with this thing. The two then traded blows until Cloud's underestimation of the talented thief lead to Locke getting in a sneak attack to take the lead! Cloud then pulled out all the stops, and the two fought a brave battle finally capped off by an unlikely Ice3 attack from Cloud, freezing Locke in his place.

All hail the first Final Fantasy Character Showdown Champion, Cloud! Feel free to use this thread to discuss the results, what you liked about the game, and what you didn't like. This was fun and I'll be sure to do it again. I'll check back later with some fun stats.
