Expert help needed

Hi, i have just started playing final fantasy 10 (X)
I seem to be stuck on mayser semor (please ignore the wrong spellings!) I am fighting him for the first time. I have got past annima and i am stuck and him again. He keeps on using double firaga etc. please help me out.

If he keeps on using double Firaga, then summon Ifrit. Ifrit absorbs fire spells.

If I remember correctly he always cast elemental spells in the same order. Just use Yuna's nullblaze, nulltide etc, and you'll never take any damage. Remeber though the spell will only be nullified for one hit. Once it's used you'll have to cast it again.

If you have a weapon with a sensor on it, it will actually tell you what spell order he uses. Also, aeons are usually helpful. I advise summoning Shiva from the outset of the battle and using her for as long as you can. I managed to defeat both Seymour and the Guados, as well as Anima with her alone. Other aeons are also helpful in this fight as well.

Steal from the Guados and they can't Auto-Potion anymore. *whistles innocently*

Thanks guys! Ive defeaten him now! It was very easy once i used nulfrost etc. Now i cant do the "bigfoot" snow thing!! (although i have only tryed once.) I am going to try it again soon. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

Steal from the Guados again in that battle. Then, use Dispel on it to cancel Berserk.
