Tifa is EEEVVVVVIIILLL(and not in the good way) Tifa is the worst! She is less real than Cher! She has no personality and is lame! I swear, Squaresoft meant to kill her off instead of Aeris but got it wrong!

I hated everybody except Cloud, Vincent, Nanaki, Cid and Sephiroth.
I voted for Palmer because he shakes his arse at you when you fight him. o_O That's just wrong. But then he gets hit by a truck that comes out of nowhere. Stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID!
My least favorite characters were Heidegger and Scarlet.

I found Palmer silly and funny. However, I found Cait Sith silly and annoying. I like the cat part of him, but what's with the big dumb looking moogle? Only two limit breaks. Fights with a megaphone. Couldn't they come up with something better?

Who I Hate Most
I can't believe so many people chose Tifa as the worst character. I thought she was one of the best. Anyways, I have to say Don Corneo, becuase he's just too gross. But Caith Sith is running a very close second.

clearly u should pick the sick guy in the tunnel 4 being a npc and little relevance to the story, being just one of the jenova numbers.
and i hope you hate cait sith, the stuffed lifeless toy, and not reeve, the person who runs him.
I don't passionately hate Cait Sith, but he could have been developed a lot better. Some suggestions:
1) Ditch the Moogle. And fast.
2) At least 4 limit breaks (it would be in line with his fortune telling ability to fight with tarot cards in a way similar to Death Dealers)
3) Gambler-type weapons like darts, razor-edged cards and daggers. Anything but the silly megaphone.
And Reeve was seriously underdeveloped in the game.

Yeah the turks were badass. I actually liked cait sith. He was in my party most of the time.
Cait Sith pwnz. He has the best limit break ever, if you do it right you can kill any boss. And besides he's got the coolest theme music.
Aeris. Absolutely HATED her. Vapid, pathetic little girl who's contributions to my personal RPG play style would be conveniently dying so I don't have to have her on my character selection screen. Her personality was pathetic and her only real importance was the connection to the ancients (you think that would have warranted a better personality. You think wrong) and dying (one of the better cinematics in my opinion and just because of that).
I really disliked barret, I thought he was boring and went over board at times...he had no personality and he really needed to get over the thing with his town being burned down...
