If you could only use one spell...

...throughout your whole FF game (whichever one that might be), which spell would it be? (apart from Cure/Life).

I would say Fire, because, it's just the original Vivi spell and it always looks good (although I may have problems when it comes to Fire-element monsters ^^)

Yea, but who would be around to use Life2 on you? You would have to put in a paired slot with Final Attack so you get Final Attack <> Life2 or Final Attack <> Phoenix

And in the rest of the world outside of Final Fantasy VII you would have another party member cast it on you, or use another after-death method used in any of the games.

I would have to go with Esuna/Heal/Remedy.

Toad is fun...

But I guess Haste would be the best spell. Basically doubles the effectiveness of any "hero" it's cast on.
As for damage spells I would go for Bahamut (yeah the summons in FF3 was actually spells usable by only Caller, Summoner and Sage).

I would still miss Toad, though...

I would say Haste. I always used it, especially in FFX. Only thing that pansy was good for.
