I don't see what's wrong with some airing of the rather stuffy bedding of the english language.

At least, with this information, I can feel a bit better about my generation.
And as for me. I feel a whole lot worse about mine.

Chingy is the best thing to ever happen to rap music.

    Which isn't saying much.

I don;t lie those rappers who have to have all the hot girls in there videos along wiht the oney, cars, houses and bling. I liek someone who keeps the video close to the song and actually tells a story and such not justa bout how they wanna hump some girls.

Some rappers use their music as a powerful social commentary, making strong points about important issues affecting their families and culture. Unfortunately, the ones who get commercialised and rammed down people's throats all over the world are usually vacuous, profane and lacking any real message except for promoting drug use, violence and gender inequality.
The best stuff is usually underground, non-mainstream.

I almost got to see Public Enemy live on my 21st birthday but nobody would go with me and I didn;t feel like going alone.

My basis for liking a brand of music, aside from whether it is good, is this:

Are the girls who listen to such music "hot" (subjective term)? Rap chixor are not hot. They have never been hot. So I hate rap with a passion.

Give me rock/punk/techno/rave girls any day *swoon*
