quick reply is evil and corrupts our children.

I myself use the "slow reply", I like to think my answer through and check it several times before posting.

    Take care all.

I've always used 'slow reply', but then I don't like radically changing stuff.
However, with the glory of VB3 upon us, quick reply is now available at the touch of a button, at any time, in any thread. Neat-o.

Fast reply doesn't have smilies. I posted like ten posts with the smilie before I realised it and went berzerk. After murdering all of Canada I fixed my posts.

Quick reply allows me to get more things done in less time. Normal reply is a bit of a pain with dialup.

    Advantage: Quick Reply

'Quick Reply' doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I used that particular feature all the time before EoFF was upgraded to this version of VBulletin. The only reason I'm not using it now is because I can't find the option to turn it on.

I'm going to look at the 'Style' options.

I use quickreply. I know all the codes for the smilies I use by heart so that isn't a problem. I just personally think it's unnecessary to use slow reply when there's a box at the bottom of every thread page. There's nothing that keeps me from double-checking my post or even edit it just because I post it with quick-reply.

I hate Quick Reply, of course. I like Yeats though.

I have memorized all the smileys and all the HTML codes I use in my post, so why should I have to click and go to an extra screen before I post? This way I can review the entire thread while I write my reply without having to click anything extra.

I used to reply normally but once quick reply appeared I started to use it frequently.

Yeats is clearly greater than Quick Reply.
