    Default Fuuuuuuuuusion..... HOOOOO!!!

    I figured I should make a thread about magic fusion. There's a bunch of obvious ones (Fira, Thundara, Cura, Blizzara) and the ones listed in the manual (Gravity & Holy) but are there more?

    Life + Cure + Cure = Haste. Very handy for speedy bosses.

    We figured out how to get the 'agas but I don't remember how... All the ones I can remember off the top of my head are already listed.

    I believe the 'agas may be just 3 of the same element, but I'm not sure.

    For attack spells they certainly are. Three of a kind gives you the big one .

    For the cures, I think you can only achieve fusion in multiplayer by having peeps cast the spell within a second of each other.

    While having Fire, Blzzard, or Thunder above a Life spell in the list will fuse into "Holy", placing one of those below life instead will net you the spell "Slow".

    Was trying to achieve Holyra but I brought the game back to the shop. Been neglecting FFXI for a while, felt the irresistable pull to get back to it

    first, sorry for the table spacing. vB is an ass when it comes to posting tables with content in it.
    A+B+C+D denotes the spells from top command slot to bottom in one player, the order in multiplayer; [] is the tempo.

    One player mode:

    -ra: Spell *2
    -raga: Spell *3
    Gravity: Fire+Ice or Fire+Thunder or Ice+Thunder or Ice+Fire or Thunder+Fire or Thunder+Ice
    Holy: Fire/Ice/Thunder+Life
    Haste: Life+Cure
    Sleep: Life+Fire/Ice/Thunder
    Stop: Life+Gravity

    Multiplayer:
    I'll use the French names here when I don't know the English names
    Spell +: Spell+Spell [A-1]
    Spell ++: Spell+Spell+Spell [A-2]
    Spell +++: Spell+Spell+Spell+Spell [A-3]
    Spell X (wider area effect, more powerful than +): Spell+Spell [D-1]
    Spell XX: Spell+Spell+Spell [D-2]
    Spell XXX: Spell+Spell+Spell+Spell [D-3]
    Max Cure: Cure+Cure [A-1] or Cure+Cure+Cure [A-2] or Cure+Cure+Cure+Cure [A-3]
    Esuna X: Same deal as Max Cure except you use Esuna, obviously, same tempos
    Max Life: Life+Life [E-1] or Life+Life+Life [E-2]
    Holy: Life+Fire/Ice/Thunder [A-1]
    Holy +: Life+Fire/Ice/Thunder+Life [all are C-2]
    Holy ++: Life+Fire/Ice/Thunder+Life+Life [all are C-3]
    Gravity: same as one player, all [A-1]
    Gravity +: F+I+T or F+T+I or T+I+F or T+F+I or I+F+T or I+T+F [all are C-2] or (yes, it's long) F+I+T+T or F+T+I+I or T+I+F+F or T+F+I+I or I+F+T+T or I+T+F+F [all C-3]
    Gravity X: F+I+T or T+F+I or I+F+T [all A-2]
    Haste: Life+Cure+Cure [B-2]
    Hastaga: Life+Cure+Cure+Cure [B-3]
    Sleep: Life+F/I/T [B-1]
    Sleep +: Life+F+I/T or Life+I+F/T or Life+T+I/F [B-2]
    Stop: Same as Sleep + [E-2]

    And now the fun part, the timing. xD

    Screw timing.

    Two players can easily pull off an -aga spell.

    Three, two (player one releases on two), one (player two releases).

    Bam, Firaga sets everything aflame.

    Just count down in timing, it's easy.

    With four players, we were pulling off the -aga +1 spells every time, not that we used spells much.

    Just gave up casting and all ran into attack the boss, while the Yuke character carried the chalice and healed us.

    You can time yourself looking at the ring around your caracter while you're casting: there's a bar that turns around you, and one turn = one second.

    And then there is Death

    Just a little note for everybody, everyone here is saying to cast the "-aga" spells you need three of the same magicite, which is only partly true. To cast the "-aga" spells you need two of the same magicite and that magicte's ring. (i.e. Thunder ring+thunder+thunder=thundaga) It's not possible to get three of the same magicite in one area.

    It's possible to get three 'o' the same magicite in one level. Trust me I'm the master of FFCC!!!!

    if you say so, pal , but even if you do get three of the same magicite, you still need the ring
