Why the hell would a British term be Aerodrome? Its a bleeding French word for heavens sake!

    Anyway:
    1 aerodrome // r airfield
    2 perambulator // d battery
    3 queue // o line
    4 hair grip // q bobby pin
    5 turf accountant // f bookie
    6 chucker outer // h baby buggy
    7 boiled sweets // p hard candy
    8 fascia panel // a dashboard
    9 hooter // b car horn
    10 accumulator // g bouncer
    11 patechnicon // l moving van
    12 lorry // m truck
    13 transport cafe // n truck stop
    14 draughts // k checkers
    15 candy floss // c cotten candy
    16 nappy // i diaper
    17 chemist's // j drug store
    18 egg flip // e eggnog

The Brits secretly want to be French, that's why they have so many superfluous vowels.

That said, "queue" is used in the US as well, but not as commonly.

most of these are probably wrong. I didn't even bother trying to match the rest.

I'm sorry...but draughts is NOT battery. Its checkers. Slightly different...and perambulator......its a pram. A thing babys get pushed in. Not a truck. I have some mental images now that are just so good. =D=D
