How do you start a conversation?

Do u make questons?

I start off by saying HI! Then... I think for a bit... and if something random comes to mind I say it and try to work from that.

I've come to realize that I am a sucky conversation maker. :D

Conversations really just happen. Usually heloo, what are you up to, and/or what are you doing later can lead to a good 20 minutes of conversation. Throughout that conversation people will think of things they want to say as soon as the other person finishes talking, and this goes on until either someone has to go, or until you literally run out of things to say

Just conversations? Just say hi and "how was your day". If you notice things, point them out. blah blah this is stuff you learned when you were like, four or five!

Indeed. Some people will start a conversation with anyone, regardless of whether you approach them or not; some people wait to speak when spoken to. Usually, if one person's not feeling talkative, then nothing'll happen. I'm pretty reserved and don't usually start conversations, except with my friends, but when I do try to converse, I'll usually begin with something relevant to the place or circumstances we're in:

"The network's certainly running slow today...."

"Hi, how're your lectures going?"

"I really like the pancakes. What do you reckon?"

...Or something along those lines.

Okay , I get the point, but (and this is for the boys or girls), for example yuo are waiting for your bus and there is cute guy/girl that you never met! You are not going to say "Hey, what's up, doc?"! Or are you?
