I can't believe people actually bidded on Contra code written on a paper napkin. Not only that, the guy is making serious profit off of it. But eh, I remember someone sold an XBox Box for $380. The girl who bidded was so pissed because she paid for it. The auction even said "For all those thick-headed people out there, this is just the box, not the system itself."

Actually, the auction continued outside of e-bay and the deal eventually went through. She was 18 or 19, though, and needed the cash to pay off her university debt. There was an article on the BBC website about it a while ago.

I also found such things as "how to regain your virginity", a cure for the common cold, lots of people selling money and alas, no lint.
