i had nothing better to do with my time and decided to have a look at the Timber Maniacs. i found they are easy to find scattered around the world, but are most easily found in hotels-does anyone know where the heck they all are and how many????

When you return to Balamb Garden, you can read Laguna's Timber Maniacs articles in the classroom, thanks to Selphie. I cant remember if they do anything in particular, but they offer some background on Laguna's travels.
