I'm definitely not liking the exclusion of older game characters. Where's Locke? Kain? Sabin? Yang? Frioniel? FRIONIEL?!

Hey JseanjohnC, I notice that whenever you make thse polls you only use the later FFs for the Sony systems. You should really try the earleir ones, they're grand.

As for this question, I think my tournament proved that Cloud is the best FF character so he needs to lead this all star lineup, though I do think Yuna or Locke would make a fine leader.

Yeah, that about sums up my thoughts.

I wouldn't like any of the existing characters to be the main character. It's be fun to have a new character and all of the other "all-stars" are available to play. Maybe like an Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen where you can put them all into parties and it's more strategy or something.

well i heard final fantasy 6 wuz good...i first played final fantasy 8 and when i played 7 after that i wuz like whoa if 7's graphics are this bad im not goin 2 go up nemore lol!

FF6 is 2D

At least it's 2D done darn well, unlike FF7 which is 3D done rather poorly in places. It's good because of the other aspects of the game as well, namely storyline, characters (these are far better and numerous than FF7's), and music

I'll agree with Mr. Gogo though for this game - a new character as the lead would be better and the characters from the other games can make guest appearances, bit like in KH, I guess

There's a PSX remake, yes, but I think the SNES version played on the PC using an emulator is better, plus you can download that one from the front site here
