How do I stop these little popup windows? They keep disturbing my games of Unreal Tournament!
Update your Windows.
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> Messenger -> Properties -> Startup Type -> Disabled.
Joel, what version of U.T. are you running? I play 03 and 04 alot, if you have those we should play.
Or if you need Messenger enabled for private networking purposes, I strongly suggest you install a firewall (which you should have anyway really) and block all traffic in both directions on local port 445 to/from all addresses except the private network.

I use the origional from 1999, my comp can't handle 03 or 04! It was on the 2nd hard drive when my uncle dismantled his old computer and gave me his 20 give HD because he got a better one!
