Metroid movie
I was watching Tech Tv last night and saw this could be a possibility. John Woo is supposed to be the director but I know nothing else.....Anyone else heard anything and the big question...Who should play Samus? If all this is true I cant Friggen' wait!

It would be cool. But it won't come out until '06, at the earliest. And I don't think it would matter who would play Samus...it's not like you can see her face at all.

It's been surmised that the movie will focus on Samus's backstory, in which case we'd see quite a lot of her face.
Hopefully Woo won't direct. He's bought the rights, but he might not helm the project. I hope he'll just be producer or something. I can't imagine Samus in a Woo flick. It doesn't make sense. Also, his recent streak of movies haven't been all that great.
