This is for those of you who have/have played the FF Anthology PS1 version of FF6...when you play, on fights does it seem to slow down at times? Like the framerate when you attack at times, when you Bio Blastrer its very visible. Does anyone else's do this, or am I just stuck with a cursed copy?

p.s: Its not my PS2 cause I took out my PS1 and tried it and it did the exact same thing.

Yes, FFVI in Anthologies is notorious for this. When you start up your PS2 without a game in the drive, go to the system setup and you can specify that you want the CD/DVD to load faster. That or you can play it on an emulator.

Really? I've played FF6 on emulators (ZSNES and Snes9x) and it runs just like the SNES version. There are only a couple of minor display and sound issues. Perhaps you have a slow computer?

I had it on Emulator and beat it when I had a decent computer...it ran perfectly. However, I like being able to play on a TV set with nice wide stereo sound and a control in my hand...

This is a dissapintment to me.

But its not the long load times thats bugging me...its the fact that it slows down in battle...gurr.

Buy a controller for your computer.

I do have a controller for my computer. My computer, however, has a 200MHZ processor.
