Kill Bill Vol. 2 SPOILER Thread

The only other thread I saw on Kill Bill Vol. 2 was from before it came out, so this is for those of us who've seen it.

I just got back from seeing it about fifteen minutes ago. I thought it was fantastic, easily better than Vol. 1, even though I really liked Vol. 1.

So, what have we to say about it? I liked how it ended. I almost really didn't want her to actually Kill Bill, but I guess she kind of had to...

I liked the first one more. It wasn't because it was more action packed but I liked the mesh of different styles of film making and the way the final battle took place. Seemed much more epic.

Volume 2 was good but it seemed to play it safe rather than take some chances like Volume 1 did.

I freaking KNEW her name was Beatrix. @_@ The beep with Oren saying it was too early, it was "beeptrix." I didn't really get the point of it, either, except for the classroom thing being funny. Probably just to make volume 1 seem more mysterious, like with the not showing Bill's face.

LOVED the fight with Ellie, too.

Just got back from seeing it. I think it was great. Totally different feel from Vol. 1, but that is okay. More of the same might have been a bad thing.

I preferred the first one, but this one's still good. Bill's death was lame, though. I expected some <i>colossal</i> finish to the guy behind it all, but I wasn't disappointed.

It was brilliant and totally fantastic! I was blown away! I loved the first one, but I think I love the second even more. Just everything about it was great and Quentin's dialogue was amazing. I can't really describe it in words...!

As have I. On first viewing I felt that Vol. 1 was superior. However, on my second viewing, it became obvious that Vol. 2 was indeed superior. I suggest viewing it.


As far as B.B. goes, that actress is horrid at acting like she is sleeping. Child or not.

Tai Ping was indeed cool. I kinda felt sorry for Budd, though.

But why are you guys calling Pai Mei "Tai Ping"? They said his name like a hundred times. It was written on one of the chapter title cards.
