In grade 10, our geography class had a discussion: what sound do cows make? Well the popular contention is that cows go moo. But if you sit there listening to cows (and Bert's the only one who can truly verify this), they don't really go moo. Instead they make an odd sound more like "ner"

Thusly, it came to pass that if we didn't know the answer to a quiz, we could write 'ner' and get a mark. I'm not sure if the last sentence ever was true, but such is the way of the world.
