I don't get the idea of a public discussion. Why not just make all decisions by means of a public (democratic) vote? We'll vote whether or not to have admins, have swear filters, have a porn forum, and whatever. It's all in the interest of what, free discourse?

I like things the way they are. If you made swearing a bunch of skulls, fine. If you replaced @!?#> with stoofu or stuff you or or sars, who cares? I wouldn't. Just post and have fun!

If I swear, which I don't think is too often then I don't mind it being edited out, as long as the person who does it changes it to something like CHICKENS! or NOODLES!!!?! or even CHOCOBOS!
