I wonder why Jolt Cola is banned everywhere...when it has less caffeine in it per serving than your average cup of coffee...and Red Bull has more caffeine per serving than Jolt Cola...
Although I did run across the fact that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration does monitor caffeine content in soft drinks, and has a maximum of 6 mg of caffeine per ounce of liquid (how's that for mixing your systems?) And Jolt is supposedly the last one over the line. However, it doesn't regulate other beverages so tightly, so Red Bull (an "energy drink") can have 80 mgs of caffeine per can; Java Water (under "bottled water") can have 125 mgs per bottle; and normal brewed coffee can have up to 135 mgs per cup.
In other words, soda pop is gettin' a bum rap.
