Riku's willingness to delve into darkness to save Kairi was noble, but stupid. But the "I'm not afriad of the darkness!" scene with Sora at the beginning made me quiver with joy. It was just awesome. Tips the game in Riku's favor for me.

Riku had the tragic hero story, but Sora's had a tragic-ish hero story as well. He prevailed in the end, but at the price of the two friends he came for. The real goal the he had set from the beginning he did not accomplish, but he had to make a choice to serve the greater good and save all of the worlds instead of save his friends and go back home, and it was so sad at the end. I like Sora's character because of that.

i say kairi. she was so sweet and nice....and she kind of has a goofy personality...LIKE ME!!! hehehe..... plus she played a major role in the story line and didnt freak out when she found out....like i woulda. i woulda passed out lol :P

There's quite a many characters who I really like in KH, and I can't choose between them. I like seeing Aeris return, and her character remained nice and sweet, and she wasn't trying to annoy Tifa this time, so I didn't have any problems with her. Sora is the main character, and I can identify with him rather well. Another probable pick. Kairi and Riku are good characters too. As for Disney characters, I like Ariel and Belle. Ariel's personality is fun, and her being a party member is another plus. Belle's also a nice character, and I really like her dialogues in Hollow Bastion's library, especially when she speaks about Ansem. Way to go, Beauty!

BTW in Finland, Riku is a boy's name. So it's not an imaginary name. I've never heard of anyone called Rikku IRL, though.

Kairi because though she didn't show up most of the time in the game, when she did show up it was during the most important and best parts of the game. She is definatly my favourite.
