Well at Squalls concert it was either Rhinoa's theme (Eyes on Me) or the folk theme(?). I don't remeber music in the shumi village probably because I hated the music for this game.
I don't know how to dance.
You might be thinking of the song Julia, which is an instrumental version of Eyes on Me. I believe that song was played at the inn in the Shumi Village (there are Moombas there).
But I don't know for sure if that's one of the two songs that can be played at the concert.
There are two complete pieces of music that can be assembled during that mini-game... one is a jazz version of Eyes onFFMe, played in an odd time, or there's the folk tune already mentioned.
Hint: Go for the folk tune. The cut-scene that follows will be several times longer and more enjoyable... trust me![]()
Are either of those on the OST? And yeah, the folk tune one has the better cut sceneOriginally Posted by Big D
EDIT: I think "Breezy" (Disc 1 track 14 on the OST) might be the Shumi village track, while I'm going through the OST again
I thought it was "Find Your Way" at Shumi Village. And the songs played at the concert aren't on the OST.
School Sucks, Go Work.
*nod* I have the OST and they aren't on it. I have the concert jig mp3 on my computer, however, if anyone wants it. I forget where I downloaded it from.
I don't remember exactly which tune plays in Shumi Village, but it isn't "Breezy," which plays in Balamb. If I recall though, the music at its enterance was rather creepy, so "Find Your Way" sounds more accurate. Are we sure there was music playing in the villiage part itself? Wasn't it just silent, maybe with sound effects like running water? Could be wrong, its been awhile since I played FF8.
However, according to the FF Web.net, if you complete the Master Fisherman sidequest and the Galbadian office subquest in FH AND you play the folk tune at the concert, the jig tune will play in Shumi Village from then on. I've never tried it, so I can't say that it's true.
