Garland...sorry but realy he was the hardest for me and drove me insane.....

I had a cheat on for unlimited life so i figured hey, why buy weapons now? he cant hurt me! and hey why would i save?

So needless to say my guys were unarmed and did about 1 damage every turn......he took so long to beat i almost...got verry frustrated

lol ff1 is so evil, forcing u to fight garland at lv 1. he has 106 hp! that is just insane! i dont know how i pulled through, i thought u needed 4 knights with masumunes and excaliburs and 999 hp and steel and fast to even touc him!

You really mean Garland, first bossfight? I used Blackmag, Witemag, Theif and Figther. Maybe i was lucky... but i took him down pretty fast. Just was very offensive. But my party was level 2-3 not 1.

what? what about when he starts casting meteor hail which does super damage, x-zone which knocks 1 character out of battle and revelation,a hyper omnislash like move that does 9999 per hit and kills everyone! even when hes playing his flare and holy attacks whoop me!

lol ultima shadow i,m joking :rolleyes2 his second form chaos does, what 200 damage at best? do u recall garland ever doing an omnislash move 9999 per hit? :moggie:

Nothing in ff1 reach 9999damage. But i just wondered if i missed something.... because i never found him hard.

I was trying to figure out how to beat Emerald at lvl 50, without Final Attack. (dumb handicaps in the Battle Arena refused to let me win -_-). In any case, i kept losing to Emerald b/c of this, and then I came up with the best strategy for someone who doesn't have Final Attack.

Once the fight started, Emerald used Emerald Shoot. I had Yuffie use X-Potion on whoever he hit. (since Yuffie is the fastest, even without Haste). Then I had Vincent W-Summon KOTR and Phoenix. That's right. PHOENIX. Then I had all three Mime the W-Summons, not caring that Emerald was killing me.
By the time Emerald opened his wings, my characters were near-dead. The orbs on his wings killed Cloud and Yuffie. Then Vincent W-Summoned. It killed the wings and revived CLoud and Yuffie. Before the wings died, though, Emerald used Air Tams Storm and killed Vincent (Cloud and Yuffie weree dealt 6666 and 8888 damage, so they survived). Cloud mimed, bringing Vincent back to life, and so on until i finally defeated Emerald.

yeah. I say Emerald was the hardest ONLY because I tried the unobvious way to beat him.
Ruby, on the other hand, was prone to lose, once I W-summoned Hades and KOTR.
