I really hated Yuna in FFX. Her voice and the way she was always soo thankful and appreciative made me sick. Everywhere she went she bowed like 30 times to some prick or another. For the most part I think Rhinoa was a way better female Character then Quintist or Selphie. Also Aeris is not annoying she sacrificed herself to save the earth and also what kind of sicko laughs when a someone dies especially somone as sweet as Aeris?

Aerith is a friggin video game character. Her death isnt some terrible event we should all cry about. I laughed my ass off when it happened.
Selphie annoyed me, but Quistis had a sense of class and calm, which pretty much everyone else in the party was lacking. The only thing that sucks about those two was the way Square shoved them in the background and didnt give them any development or spotlight, instead focusing only on the angst teen love deal with Squall and Rinoa.

ok maybay not but i feel more for aeris then any other computer game/anime/film/book character and most real ppl too. not bad for a friggin video game character lol.

Yeah, I understand feeling for her... but as for not feeling for her, it doesnt make one a heartless monster. I've felt connections to characters before, and been moved by their stories and cry when they die and all, but they're all only a story in the end. Nothing real.

I seemed to hate all the main love interests in FFs. Aeris wasn't really the love interest but i still hated her. When I reached the City of The Antiencts, I was smiling so muchI hurried along, eager to let her die. I almost cried when the rest of the party stopped Cloud from killing her. Tifa was way better. Rhioa was just as bad. I would of preferred if Squall had ended with Zell or Irvine. When I reached the end of that game, Zell, Irvine and Squall were on L100. The ladies were on under 20. Selpie was on L12. On FF9 Garnet sucked so much ass. Vivi should of just burnt her to deat. Then I would of enjoyed her part in the game. Yuna *sigh* was proberley the best out of the 4. Although she still sucked. As Tidus in the swimming scene when they kiss I so wanted him to keep her underwater and drown her. Although I used Yuna alot in Battle it was only because no-one else could summon. At the end when she (SPOILER)runs through Tidus and falls over, I really wanted her to fall of the ship.

I guess the contrast of Squall and Rinoa made the game insteresting, probably giving more effect than a down to earth love interest. I guess it would have been good to see a more down to earth relationship in the game, with another couple.

yeah but it was always meant 2 be a teen romance which are rarely based in rationality or logic lol.
