Rinoa was Ok, she lost her Mother at a young age, and hence, puts on a cheery exterior to hide her grief... Squall is the only person who could relate to this.

Interesting, as Relationships in teenagers tend to revolve around economies of privilege i.e. they are very rational and planned. This helps to explain why 40% of teenage girls in the U.S. will date men of >1 year(s) older. Older boys have more privileges than younger boys and teenage girls respond to the so called privilege element. Not surprisingly, teenage girls rarely date younger boys, as they have little to offer economically e.g. younger teen boys have less money and more parental supervision and curfew hours. Girls who participate in older relationships more commonly commit truancy and under-age drinking to elevating their social status in the high school environment. However, boyfriends in senior year who 'kiss and tell' gain points, and hence the female counter part can gain a bad reputation and her "long-run popularity" returns back to equilibrium...
In Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” the reader witnessed the dating between a man of 21 and a girl of 14. But at least this relationship was based on sacrifice and not what the parties had to gain from one another… as is the norm of most relationships today, usually ending in break-up.

I cannot stand Rinoa. First of all, she's easily one of the most annoying video game characters. She throws fits when things don't go her way.

True, she's a freedom fighter. But why is she fighting? Simple, to piss her dad off. She's playing adult games with adult lives to make daddy mad.

When Seifer, the man she'd dated (and may still have been dating), dies, she's sad. For about an hour. Once they get to Galbadia Garden, she's already trying to get into Squall's pants.

She constantly needs to be saved, she's selfish, and she's pathetic. So yeah, I hate her.

I stongly dislike Rinoa. My thoughts on her are pretty much how Abominatrix's are.

I honestly don't know what Rinoa fans see in her. I'm not flaming in them, but just what do they see in her that makes her so wonderous? :rolleyes2

Rinoa was like... pretty realistic. She was annoying, bothersome, had little concept of common sense, but was pretty cute. Hmm... sounds like a lot of girls I know. Do I like her? About as much as I like any other annoying real life girl.
