Minor cable internet question
Im getting cable internet tommarow and I wanted to know. Can I just disconect the cable wire from the back of my TV and install it on the back of my cable modem? Because I don't think I can get another wire set up under my house that leads to the cable pole outside.

This is just a guess, but I'm guessing that you can get a cheap splitter and a few feet of coaxial cable and have them both hooked up at the same time.
I've never had cable internet though, but I know people watch TV and get on the internet at the same time so....
And yes, I think you could unhook the coaxial cable from your tv and hook it right into the modem, but you should look into the splitter idea. It's cheap.
I might be way off base, but I don't think I am.

Yeah, I never watch TV that much anyway.

There's a good chance the "cable guy" will do that for you.
