Bush and Blair's Middle Eastern policy is coming under increasing fire. Do you think that they'll survive their next elections? Personally, I think Bush is in more trouble than Blair, mainly because the Democrats are actually an effective opposition. Labour will probably still win the next general election, but will probably end up losing a load of seats to the Lib Dems and the Tories. So, with the 'Big Three' remaining coalition countries (US, UK, Australia) coming up for general elections by the end of this year, can those who supported the Iraq war cling to power?
NB// This is NOT a thread about whether you think the war was justified/whether Bush's/Blair's/Howard's policies are the right ones. It's about that the world political scene will look like eight months or so from now.
