8-bit Interlude
The concluding interlude episode will be posted on this Saturday, which I think is a good thing.
Interlude00 was only mildly funny. Interlude01 had no laughs at all. So... the Fighter is dumb and can't make a polished comic. It's sad that a comic strip takes a whole week to examine a character, only to make him increasingly one-dimensional.
Enter the darkside of Dr. Unne, all WLunaris said was that Lich was male and that he beleived that Cloud's cameo was blasphemy. I see banning him as an unreasonable action, his haiku on the other, hand... I thought that was the reason you banned him, but if this was that was the last straw, then Dr. Unne is nothing more than a hard@$$ed tyrant. As for WLunaris, he is a martyr who's only crime was speaking his mind.Originally posted by WLunaris

Scooter, keep things on topic. This thread was closed earlier because of off topic things. If you have a problem with Dr. Unne, PM him.
Back on Topic, I wonder if each character will have their own seprate Interlude. I would love to see one by Black Mage.

LoL, the characters aren't as set as they used to be. Like, first, no one cared Fighter was dumb and they all hated Black Mage, now they all hate Fighter. And in the comic, Fighter seems all nice, and now he's a jerk since he's running things. The only one who's the same is Red Mage, since he doesn't really have a personality, unless 'obssessed' is one.

True. You'd think that Black Mage would be the one who would want to take over the site and make fun of the author, but it's Fighter. Why does he keep making fun of Black Mage? I thought he thought Black Mage was his friend. I liked Fighter better when he had the "Dumb but Lovable" personality; now he is just dumb. Hopefully he will return to his normal self after the interlude.
One thing I've never understood: Why are Theif and Red Mage constandly taking second hand in role? It's basicly just Fighter and Black Mage with the other two filling in a much lesser role. I mean, Theif is suppose to be the leader of the team and Red Mage is suppose to be the smart guy of the team and they barely speak. I sometimes forget that they are there. I hope they take a more active role in the future.

On topic. Yes. I never liked Red Mage. I'd have been happy if Brian had kept it to only Black Mage and Fighter. The beginning was much better, I agree with whoever said that above. It's too showy now. Or something.
I kinda like the interlude myself. It's not as good as the main comic so far, but it's by no means bad. The behind the scenes episode was creative. I didn't like the newest robot one very much. Still, even at it's worst, it's a million times better than anything else out there. As far as what people have been saying about characterizations, I agree. In the beginning, B.Mage was evil, and fighter was dumb. We knew that, as he got the point across with a little subtlety. I'll admit, I've never really liked the thief or red mage yet. The thief is more of a used car salesman than a stealthy mysterious character he could have been. And red mage just annoys me. Still, I hate complaining since I couldn't do any better. Yeah, I think "too showy" is how I'd describe it too.

Which one, #72? I found that one rather amusing.
At first I thought the guy was screaming 'HELP', but when I found out he'd written it on the wall in his own blood, it seemed much more amusing.(Don't ask me why, I guess I'm just morbid)
