Of course.I also don't think Brian has had time to play through the game several times and get the plot down, I don't blame him for making it inaccurate. You have to trail off a bit if its going to be funny and entertain an audience that hasn't played the game.
Brian has said a few times before that he's not at all trying to copy the plot/story, but that it's supposed to be "loosely", as i believe he put it, on the plot. I also think he said that in the FAQ
I like episode 25. that is the only picture of Black Mage doing the best spell that never existed in the FF saga.

Um yeah, but it used to be funny. I will admit that the latest ones have been a bit better, though.Repititve and stupid? The plot has ALWAYS been stupid, its supposed to be.
Perhaps to those who like to hold cocktail parties tittering about dénouement, juxtaposition and dipthongs. Really, all of the characters speak exactly the same.All they do is yak? Its the ramblings of the characters, like Black Mage's recently, that makes it funny.

I really like how long it took to set up and reveal Astos, and now that he's been introduced, he'll actually last for a while. Along with Bikke, he's all set up to join Garland in a more inclusive evil alliance than is found in the game. Nice.

Black mage and Fighter are my favourite characters, Black mage i so evil and Fighter is to dumb for hes own god.

Well I talk about it almost every day and I make sure I'm awais up to date with the new comics. Of course only one person here on EOFF would know that. So yes I love 8-bit Theater.
I thought it was awfully obvious that Astos didn't really die and just made a deceptive retreat.
