I started a linkshell group in Quetzacoatle for Windurstians only, with the goal of organizing conquests of non Windurst controlled areas. It's nothing impressive at the moment, with only two of my friends as members, and an expected two to four more in the near future (essentially, my friend's list), but I still have high hopes. We're all relatively new players, so if you want to join, don't be intimidated. We're not incredibly knowledgable or powerful yet, but we're all friendly. You'll probably have a good time. I play as Pompidou, a male Tarutaru, currently a whm, with some aspirations of bardhood.

I would be happy to join but I don't have a world pass. I had an old character but it's probably been deleted from no use. Anyways I want to start a new character/race and won't be on very often, maybe 2 times a week for an hour or two. If you want someone who's not a fanatic and will be on occasionaly then I'll create my character on Quetzacoatle (with a world pass) and join.

I should be able to scrape together the money for a world pass. I just hit level 17 yesterday, and also have to save up for Barfira and Shellra a total of 7k gil at the AH. That means a lot of farming. I'll send you a pm when I scrape up a bit more cash. I think I have about 1300 at the moment. A single Yagudo Necklace should get what I need.

Just out of interest, I don't actually own the game myself my friend has it, but how much does a worldpass cost?

I believe it varies with rank. I paid 1697 for mine, and I was rank 2. When I was asking a higher levelled friend, he said it was 1,500. It's possible he was estimating, but since a lot of prices go down with rank, I think he was accurate. Still, you shouldn't be paying over 2,000 no matter what, I imagine.
