ARGUMENT FROM GUITAR MASTERY
(1) Eric Clapton is God.
(2) Therefore, God exists.
At first glance, I'd say Orlandu because he saved my party countless times towards the end of the game, but at the same time, he made the game less fun = too easy.
Thus, my vote must be for the greatest pilot of all time: Cid Highwind.

Big surprise here. Anyway I picked Orlandu. Excalibur and All Swordskill make him one of the most powerful FF characters ever. Plus he's just as cool as that Highwind guy.
