FMV, artwork both used and unused, and in-depth information on the game itself.

    Ooh, you gots told.

Why would they release something like that in Japan only? Heaven knows all of the FF7 fanboys would probably kill to get their hands on something like that here in the States.

And it was an additional release of the game, the international version I believe, that had the extras, including Ruby and Emerald Weapons, as the original Japanese release of FFVII didn't have the Ruby and Emerald Weapons.

A lot of stuff was added to the American version that the Japanese only got in International, including Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon, the Diamond Weapon battle (it was seen but not fought in the original version), an extra minute or so of FMV showcasing the Weapons escaping from the Northern Cave, the flashback that occurs before Tifa wakes up in Junon, the whole Kalm Traveler scenario, the Underwater matiera (of course), Yuffie's Rising Sun weapon, minor graphical improvements like the "Gold Saucer" sign in North Corel, and more.

I also thought that the basment flashback with Zack was in international, but added the the american version.
