Umm.. I take it somebody doesn't see the Japanese version of the anime. Yeah, it's sometimes pretty gorey. You might be able to buy the DVDs online somewhere or maybe if Jesus is standing behnd you try Kazaa.

Erm, s'cuse me here, but I happen to have an uncut subbed copy of the first Pokemon movie, and I don't recall Giovanni dying. Mewtwo busted out of that building and pretty much ripped it to shreds, but Giovanni doesn't die. In fact, he reappears in the series several times afterwards, and in Mewtwo Returns.

Back on topic now, my personal favorites include just about any of the fire-type variety (arcanine, quilava, etc.), pidgeotto, pidgeot, absol, the nidoran family, sandshrew, sandslash, otachi (sentret), ootachi (furret), and um, yeah. ^_^ The list goes on.
