They need more save points in that joint. I couldn't be bothered finishing it now it's too frustrating.
yea the random encounters are kinda tough in the castle. i am hating doom claw and iron giant currently.
I don't think I'm even up to those yet. :moggie: I'm up to the bit where it takes 20 minutes from a save point to get to the boss that casts gigaflare on you and then you die because you don't have time to heal etc. I think I need someone who can cast haste.
What's your character levels on your party?
either summon odin when he is charging for gigaflare or bring a chemist and a giant drink to get your HP above 3000.
Or cast Big Guard.

I don't have any of those. :mog: Everyone's on around level 39 and I have a white mage/summoner but my best summon is carbuncle so I think I'll change the summoner part to a bard so I can use the haste song etc. :goofy:
you need to go get more summons
Umm where though? I can't even remember how you get summons in this game, it's been a while since I last played it.
you find the monster and he gives it to you.
After, y'know, you fight him and everything.
