Wow...just wow. Here are some neat stats: 24 are NBA players. One is a hockey player. 2 are women. 3 are not US citizens: Michael Schumacher F-1 racer, David Beckam soccer star, Jaromir Jagr hockey player. Tiger Woods made 70 mil off endorsements, 2nd place was LeBron James at a "mere" 35 mil. Lance Armstrong had the lowest salary at 460,000, to give you an idea of how "low" that is, the 2nd lowest was Venus Williams, who made almost 3x as much as Lance Armstrong with 1,126,555 in salary. 10 players are in the New York area.

Wow, half of those athletes are has-beens as well.

Jeter makes more than A-Rod overall? I didn't know that, very interesting.

Armstrong deserves more endorsements than Grant Hill, Vince Carter, almost all of the people on this list.

    Take care all.

Oh wow. I feel so bad for the one in last place...
    "What are you doing?"

"Maybe killing you here is the only way to end this nightmare..."

    "Yeah, you might be right."

I'm surprised Schumacher is so high. Then again, he's the best F-1 racer of our generation, so it makes sense.

Suprised there aren't more soccer players on there. I would have thought the likes of Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Raul... er basically all of his Real Madrid mates would have been up there as well.

The Real Madrid team may make a ton of money, but there equivalent salaries don't come close to David Beckham's.

Speaking of Beckham, I think Real Madrid will dump him after this year. And the Real Madrid team will play against the MLS All-Stars...which I think Real Madrid will win. They are just too talented. I remember when Russia defeated the NHL All-Stars like 7-4 a couple years ago...and that game wasn't as close as the lopsided score indicated. It felt like 7-1. It's amazing how much talent some of these countries have.

Why would Madrid dump Beckham, he has been sensational this season. It's arguably the best season of his career, he creates goals and he scores goals, and just his presence brings millions of pounds in to the club per year. He has had a few personal problems, so what? The whole team has it's just his were covered in more detail.

Didn't it cost them like 40 million to bring him over? I remember in the reports they said they were considering trading him. But eh...I don't follow Euro leagues that much.

Who would take on that salary though? Unless Beckham can play 2B for the Yankees.....

    Take care all.
