I) No! I hate them!
II) Very much so.
III) Not that I know of, but I have woken up with a few bumps that could have been spidey bites.
IV) I've seen a tarantula once, it was pretty big.. but I kept my distance.

Those bird-eating ones. Pretty big.

Spiders are interesting. I don't have a favourite, but I like to watch them build their webs.

I'm not afraid to touch them as long as I know that they're not the poisonous variety, but most would get squished if they were touched. I'd never touch one of the shiney black ones though.

Spiders are cool, and I've been bitten by them many times in my sleep.
Are you people familiar with that funny urban legend of spiders crawling into your mouth when you sleep? Because your mouth is naturally moist they like to go inside and you will just spontaneously swallow them.

I) I love them all, because they eat flying bugs. I hate flying bugs, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Spiders are interesting too. Can't say I feel anything but awe, watching a tiny mindless creature create a huge complex geometric form better than I could do myself.
II) I'd be afraid of being bitten, but I don't flee in terror when I see them. Spiders are nothing to be afraid of, so long as you leave them alone. Sometimes spiders find their way into the house, and I leave them there, and they don't bother me.
III) I'm sure everyone has. Live in hick country where I live, and you'll be bitten by quite a few things over the years.
IV) I saw some big ones in the pet store once. Maybe 4-5 inches across, I don't know.

2) I don't know if I'm afraid... but I would certainly want to avoid it.
3) No, not to my knowledge.
4) A distant relative of the tarantual.. some 2-3 inches across, black and hairy.

4) it was fricken huge,my sister found it in her room and almost @&$% her pants. We kept it in a large glass container outside...then a heatwave came and we forgot about it so the spider exploded.

One time I was on a spider rescue mission and my friend was an arachnaphobe and was very scared and grossed out that I was gonna touch it.
