Having said that, I enjoy looking at fire. For some reason, it's pleasant.

my bedroom is lit purely by candles most nights (it makes the room kind of hot so the windows are open most nights too) I do it cause I love the glow of natural fire light a proper light bulb is too harsh cause my room is tiny and has cream walls the only thing though is I don't find it as special when I light the candles with a girlfriend in there as they do they seem to think I actually made a supreme effort to get the candles in the right place and light them. Still I cant complain about it they treat me better then.
I guess my fascination with fire is due to being a romantic at heart it is one of the most romantic lights in the world
It's been a loooong time, but if you make a sort of a structure out of plywood and stuff in a firepit and burn it, it's really cool as it slowly collapses.
