As for added commentary, they're best when announcing winners, but if you want to add some when announcing the nominees, make sure you don't add any biasm, like "Oh, Kishi's for sure to win this." But you could also add something like the odds of that person winning, like "The odds of Kishi winning this is 5-3" Like they do for the oscar's.
