Thread: Flooded

    Default Flooded

My basement is under 2-3 inches of water not much right?

Well considering my Playstation2, Cd player, and shaver were on the floor I lost $280 in electronic devices. (for me thats alot) Recently my parents kidnaped my TV/Electronics stand for the TV they bought and said I could have it back when they get the big screen they want....so my Stuff was on the floor becaue they had my stand and wouldnt give it back.

    My Question is..
Should they have to pay for my stuff?

I'm like, Mr. Arsonist 2000. And 2003, if you saw my beautiful work on assorted AOL CDs. I've kinda not been up to my old form in 2004, but here's hoping.

I think you should split the cost.

That sucks. We had floods where I used to live, but here is pretty flood free.

Well, at least your computer was spared, as it would seem.

Perhaps, it's time to rediscover the beautiful world known as the outside for a while?

If, your family has flood insurance, perhaps you'll get the lost materials back, by the by. Otherwise, I'd say that sadly, you are stuck and might have to get a job.

    Take care all.

    out...whaty? BLASPHEMY!

My computer is in my parents apartment on the 2rd floor and attic,I'm in the basement floor and my sisters get the first floor.

And as for insurance, a small puddle here and there is highly unlikely, but the first big rain when I move in I get inches of water coating the floor.

I will have to look into this....do we even have flood insurance?

In that case, they should pay for it. It's their fault your stuff got ruined, after all.

Well, they put it on the floor so technically they should pay... Really, I don't know who should be paying for the stuff. Ask them nicely and maybe you're lucky?

Well, whether or not they should pay they're probably not going to, so you might as well get a job.

You shouldn't leave your expensive electronics on the basement floor.

your right i should have left them on my electronics stand... Besides my basement is my room and my TV at least waso n a small laundry basket that could barely support it.
